G'Day,
Just thought i might share some Family History with ya's
First my Grandfather,
Pt Frank Ivan Buckingham
2/31st Australian Infantary Battalion
The two Honour the Brave Certificates were presented to my Grandfather and Grandmother by the citizens of the Shire of Tiaro which is a small country town near Maryborough Queensland.
My Grandmother served with the AWAS (The Australian Womans Army Service)
The Postcard was sent by my Great Uncle William George Grebert from the UK on his way back to France in 1918,he served with the 31st Battalion Australian Imperial Forces.He was of German descent.
The last is a Christmas card from 1916 from the ANZAC'S (The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps)
