My parents were throwing this away...

Hey everyone,

My grandfather passed away a few years ago and he was in the Army Air Corps during WWII. My parents were recently going through drawers and had this in the "throw away" pile. I decided to save it because it is a pretty interesting piece. Anyone seen one? I'm sure there were a lot of these hymn books, man how things have changed!

It looks to be an issue military religious song book. Possibly used by chaplins.
I really can't say any more than that. Definitly WWII period.

Yeah I thought it was pretty interesting. It also has diagrams on how to perform military funerals.

That appears to be a very nice conditioned period publication.

Copyright 1920, 1925... so I'm assuming 1925. One of the first few pages says that it was compiled by chaplains. Towards the end of the book it has special sections for Jews and Roman Catholics.
