Default Queens Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada

here's a pic of members of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada out of Winnipeg including my grandfather (2nd from right, back row) a few weeks prior to their ill fated attack on Dieppe on August 19, 1942. I have all of the names of soldiers in the photo.... At least 3 of these guys including grandpa were captured and spent the remainder of the war at Stalag VIIIB at Lamsdorf.

Indeed. Apart from the short lived cap the SWB only wore the scarlet frock with white facings for a limited period before returning to their traditional green trim.

note he also has a swagger stick and the SWB white metal Sphinx collar badges. The cap badge is very clear on the original unshrunken version.
