    I recieved these great photos from my Uncle today. His father was in the RAF and is in the pictures stood in front of the ME262, JU52 and in the car. There is also a picture of his uncle on a motorbike (see; 1944 Post D-DAY (Bayeux) Description of fighting in soldiers personal letter for more details on him)
    The other photographs were taken by his father or uncle they show the Brandenburg gate, Reichstag and Hitlers bunker!

    Thought I would dig this one out again. The photos are from a friend of mine . Marion was a nurse in WW11 she is now 101 and still one hell of a great lady. lets see if you can guess who the lady in the hat is.

    great thread fellas, love the photos with the tommy guns

    heres some photos i picked up as negatives and got them developed because they were from my grandfathers battalion
    the two graves are men who were killed in the salient at tobruk during the seige.
    unfortunately i was unable to identify any of the other photos but they all look like they are in the western desert and middle east.

    Great photos Paul.
    I see they had the negative reversed when they printed the first photo.
    One of my uncles was in North Africa (one of the rats) and he was actually
    from South Australia.
