    Have you tried the message board on ancestry.com? I see there are some VERY old searches for beamesdefer/bemesdefer there. Hope this suggestion ain`t too way off?!

    Sadly looks as though he didn't have any children, and all his siblings have also passed. However, there are lots of Beamsderfer still in Lebanon.
