    Great pics. Looking at the mix of units in the officers group photo I think it is likely a formation HQ or "Mess" photo. It would be researchable I think if any one of the group were known.

    Here is some interesting info on RAF Aqir which now has a different name (The State of Israel did not exist back then remember) and is under new management !

    74 OTU is not mentioned in the article (that's Wiki for you I'm afraid) but the unit was formed there and it performed the role of Army co-operation training (Hence the brown jobs in the pic being mostly arty and armour) and it focussed on desert aerial recce skills.

    A good start for research I think.
