Hello folks.

Someone I know makes research over his father's history. He flew on Spitfire in the R.A.F. during the Second World War. One day, he showed me a photograph of his father, seated in the cockpit of a Spitfire Mk Vb nicknamed " Punjab ". The aircraft was among the Spitfires transfered from 130 " Punjab " Squadron to 349 " Belgian " Squadron ( 1943 ). I do have a photograph of " Punjab " ( PJ - A, I think ) :

Spitfire Mk Vb ( from 130 " Punjab " Squadron to 349 " Belgian " Squadron )

I would like to know the curriculum vitae of this Spitfire, from the beginning until the end. As you can see, it has belonged to a Squadron Leader as well.

Could you help me please?

Thank you.

Cheers.
