That last photo is really great. I've never seen a photo showing that much detail. I think that's the electronics and battery box and the way they have it mounted, you can see it would most certainly break free when it hit the water taking the rudders with it. That torpedo is so small. I love that the guy has only been on the island for a short time and he's already complaining about the "K" rations and sleeping in a tent with six other guys. Can't say I blame the poor guy. Great history Gary.
