    Default USS Iowa Manual Help

    Hey Guys,

I have a question regarding a manual I obtained a few years ago at an auction. It is a CARE OF WOUNDED DURING BATTLE manual. If I had to guess, it might be from mid war ('43), but I am not entirely sure. I have had it authenticated by two museums. But I have two questions, the first being how rare is this item? And the second, and probably what the world revolves around, what is it worth?

    Thanks,
    Lockley16 (Zack)

A battle ship named booklet. That is neat.
There were only so many battleships so I would say hard to find.
    Value ? Probably not much.

Ya, I know. That is half the reason why I bought it. The other half being the thought of "I can't imagine there are a whole hell of a lot of these in existence." But, you never know.

Indeed an interesting find, but not much value. The real value in such documents are the work proofs for the assembly of the actual guide. Even those don't fetch very much. Especially first aid topics. The rare ones such as proofs for bombing stats and probabilities (like what Robert McNamara and Gen Lemay) concocted. Those are worth gobs.
