WWII British Army Group Photo
Article about: Hi Guys, I just got this today, and would need some help on this particular group photo. I have a few questions: 1.) Which regiment were they in? Queen's Own 24th London based on the cap bad

They are all from different units and wearin 1949 pattern battledress - so not before then date wise, so probably on a course of some description. The details on the picture are too poor to tell much. The guy with the navigator is not a pilot, he's by the nature of his badge a navigator. He is in army uniform - from the looks of his cap badge the Queens E. Surrey Regt. Probably competed a tour of ops, was released from the RAF and then remustered in the armypostwar, he'd be entitled to wear his nav wing as it is a qualified trade.
