Komsomol Book #9749098 dated November 28th, 1939 issued to Sara Samuilovna Ramm, born 1923, membership stamps from November, 1939 to August, 1944. She went on to become a Chemist and worked in the management of the chemical industry in Armenia.

Usually the Komsomol booklet was issued with that kind of protective cover - Nowadays, many russians sell these covers in russian auction sites. Actually I do not have any and, frankly I think they're ugly.

Another Komsomol Card from the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (Remember that the USSR was a grouping of republics). This card was issued in 1939 to Anastasiya Danilovna Odinitsa and emitted by the Komsomol Committee of the Kirovskiy District emcompassing the city of Saratov.

Comsomol Book (VLKSM Member Booklet) , #43700720, dated April 21st, 1977 issued to ethnic Uzbek Shafoat Tairovna Almetova, born 1963, in Tashkent, UzSSR, dues stamps from 1977 to 1988. She would have been about 14 in this photograph.



A bit off topic, but an interesting Russian/Uzbek Labor Union Identification Book, #03156445, dated October 19th, 1960 issued to an ethnic Korean Vera Aleksandrovna Kim by the Labor Union of the Employees of the State of Trade & Consumer Cooperation, dues stamps from 1960 to 1968.
