Hi,
it's Ukranian, I can't understand the surname. The name is David Gershkovich. The date is 5.2.1940.
The red stamp is: Lvov city, Militia.
Thanks.
IS it NKVD or security registration of some sort? reason?
Can you make out the round stamp in the pink ID and the red boxed stamp in the smaller scan?
Thanks again.
The left one is a kind of a temporary identification card.
I can understand just parts of words in the round stamp but can't understand the whole stamp.
The red boxed stamp is:
Lvov city, 3d dept of Workers' and Peasants Militia.
Registrated 10.1.1940
-the address- (I can't understand the exact address)
The head of the passport dept.
The vertical word: temporary
So, it's the identification card with the address registration stamp.
Thank you very much!
Neil
