Hi, Huddy! Sure I can.
At first the second one:
The stamp in the left corner:
MGB USSR (Ministry of state security, USSR)
Guard dept MGB in North Black sea area
Guard dept of Nikolaev port
15.10.1948
#1857
Top secret.
To the secretary of organization-instructor’s dept of Nikolaev region committee of Com. Party of Ukraine.
Nikolaev city.
By our operation needs, we ask you to check and report if RADIONOV GRIGORY TIMOFEEVICH was, during german occupation, in lists of underground organizations members. He was hanged by Germans in March 1942 on the Market Place of Nikolaev supposedly for participating in partisan movement.
In view of checking urgency, don’t delay the reply.
Chief of MGB guard dept of port Nikolaev
major Balitsky.
Many thanks!
Can you make sense of the other document?
The first one is the Leningrad Military Commissariat notification about death of Red Army soldier Koulagin Alexander Ilich. It was sent to his wife by December 31, 1942. Very sad gift for the New Year...
