    Hi Dimas, great pic!

Do you have any other pics showing the jump overall? This is something I would like to see and maybe get copied for re-enacting.

The PPD is a very rare item in the UK. I know of only one.

Here is a PPD I saw in Austria.

    Cheers, Ade.

This one you show is PPD-40, mag system is as on the PPSH-41, they are very rare, and the price is about 4000 eur, only one place where they can be picked up-Finnland due of the Finns never recycle trophees and army stuff.
On the picture is PPDs 34, 38, and 40

Early PPD-29 or also called as PPD-31, but there a small differences between that models.
Some peoples says that the PPD is the copy of Suomi, but the soviets copied just the round mag after the finnish war, firstly made round mags for 38, and the totally reapplyed system for round mag. In other all systems are similar as German, Austria etc

About the overall, this is the similar by cut to tankman, after 1935 Red Army use the ameba camo as jumping suits, under was this overall or usual gimnasterka+ trousers

This Fyodorov 1916 automatic rifle was also a weapon of the first day of war, this gun is also can be seen on the pictures of parade of 7 November 1941 in the Red Square- Moscow
