Stalingrad Medal Award Document

Guys

Picked this up today, did not pay a lot for it, will keep me going until my Stalingrad Medal Grouping arrives from the states in the New Year

Not in the best of condition, appears to have been stuck to some backing card/paper to keep it together. Dated 29th August 1943. I am thinking the soldier may have kept this with him throughout the rest of the war.

Any information on it would be most appreciated!

Are you referring to my document or the Big Issue ???? haha

If we are being ignored, we have a saying here, sort of self deprecating I guess, if thats the correct grammer, we say " Am i selling the Big Issue "

Hi,
The round stamp and red indicates that it is the 27th Guards rifle division.
Formed May 21, 1942. She participated in the battles of Stalingrad from August 1942 until the end of the war in February 1943.
