They look really great! I wish you could get them scanned somehow, I'm trying to find high-resolution prints of Soviet posters.
The first one is concerning the 'Five Year Plan' and from what I gather, the army's fulfilling it. I'm not a native speaker so my Russian is quite basic. The second poster is for the October Anniversary and it praises the Soviet armed forces of the army, navy and air force. They appear to be a style similar to TASS posters, that being the Soviet telegraph agency (Tyelyegrafnoye agyentstvo Sovyetskogo Soyuza). Can you please photograph the very bottom section of each poster where the Russian printing information is seen. This would help me tell you what these are and who made them.
Here is the translation:
1. Subscribing to a loan third Five-Year Plan (release of the fourth year) much more strengthen our native red army - a mighty bastion of peaceful labor of USSR peoples.
2. The mighty Red Army, the Red Navy and the glorious Soviet aviation - a faithful guardian of the gains of the Great October Socialist Revolution. Strengthen even more the armed forces of the Soviet country subscribe to the loan.
The third Five-Year-Plan was in 1938-1942, so it's fourth year was 1941 and the posters could be taken as Finnish trophy.
I remember the time, where each family in USSR had a tons of obligations, which was given for their funds, but as known, they never refunded their money back. Anyway these posters are really interesting.
