Got this today, Bulgarian Ushanka
Anyone know approximate time frame this was made? And would it have been Military or just Civilian?

Just a side note, It has a strong odor of paint Wonder if it's the dye in the wool.

It looks like a military issue item, from the colour it's naval use and from the communist era 1946-1989!...
