New pick up - this is well used condition, and I usually avoid ripped/torn uniforms - but since this one is a fairly rare item, I got it. Hopefully, I'll find more of these...
Hungarian 1951M camouflage coverall in "spring" or "open terrain" camo. It has been designed after the Soviet experiences in the Second World War for wearing over the field uniform.
It has been produced until 1954 in tremendous amounts. This type of coverall masks the wearer not only by the camo pattern, but by concealing the contours of the soldier. There is also a loose hood with nets against insects, and to cover the face of the user. This type has been developed for "open" terrain (e.g.: fields, meadows etc.) but it has been issued mixed with the 1951M "autumn" or "close terrain" coveralls.
There is tear in the front "net" part and on the "net" part of the right ear - inside the hood. Still looks ok, will keep it even like this - also attaching a photo (last pic), from my "uniform bible", just scanned it...

he has an M48 Hungarian Nagant + bayonet, M48 Nagant ammo pouch with M1950 "pilotka" field-cap tucked in, an M48 "Vécsey" hand grenade (red stripes is "live" - blue stripes is "dummy" for practice), M50 gasmask set, M48(?) paratroopers knife:

THX James, plenty more updates to come...Eventually, I'll start a BLOG probably with professional photos. First I'll have to get a 'dummy'.
(I'll be the first to admit, that these photos are crap)
