    Assorted Hungarian arm-bands from 1945 - 1970s:

top left: air-defense from the end of WW2 1945 - hence the Russian letters (most of Hungary was probably occupied by the Red Army when this was used)

top right: military traffic-controller from the 1960s-1970s

second left: medical with 1950s medical badge attached (with 1956 November revolution date stamped - can't confirm the originality of it (50/50)

second right: another military traffic-controller from the 1960s

bottom middle: Hungarian Workers' Militia (Munkásőrség) 1956 - 1989

Thanks. I usually go for good or new condition stuff... Or if I find a better condition one, I sell the old one. (like I did not long ago with some M50 gasmasks and a 57M police hat.)
    I'll post soon those...
    Also the Hungarian canteen collection (2 x WW2 - 5 x M50 - 6 x M70 canteens)

    Oh yeah, James...
I just won this lot of canteens (yet to arrive) - again for a ridiculous price - about 8 Euroes...The secret: I usually don't buy from military dealers, mostly from people who sell a lot of assorted junk, and have no clue what they are selling

Anyway, the unpainted alu one is a Hungarian M50, but the other 3 are not Hungarian (or I don't think they are). I have no clue which country - maybe French?

When I get them, I look for markings...

Hungarian M57 police officers hat - made in 1959 - somewhat of a rare item
    Size 57
Like many Hungarian military items, has a "MEO" marking - short for "Minőség Ellenőrző Osztály" (Quality Control Department)
