Hungarian "Cold War" Collection 1945 - 1990

THX James, I will have to research this uniform more...but glad I found a hat in such a new condition.
I've been kind of busy, but 'will take more pics of:

- Hungarian M50 "officers" mapcase collection - I have 5 so far...
- Hungarian TT and PA63 gun-holsters - I have 4 TT and 6 PA63
- Hungarian M65 and M82 Army boots
- Hungarian M50 and M62 gasmask sets
etc.

Soviet tankers' head-phones + case (with assorted "antenna parts") - looks like, the case needs a good wipe, otherwise looks good...

hi James - no clue...(can only guess: 1960-80s)
not all that familiar with Soviet stuff - 'thou I'm bidding for a 1980s Afghanistan "Peschanka" (sand colored) uniform - maybe you saw the thread:

ok, took some photos...

Hungarian cold-war pistol-holster collection:

Hungarian TT33 TOKAREV holsters - as far as I know, I have all types that were made. These were used from the end of the WW2 until about 1963 - when the PA63 type was introduced...
The first 2 type from the left is the same design as the WW2 Hungarian FROMMER M37 holster, with some minor differences (the FROMMER holster had pouch for 2 magazines). Cleanling rods (I have to get a few still) go inside in these. The 3rd and 4th is mainly artfic. leather with leather parts (clouser tab, magazine pouch, and belt leather rings). Cleaning rods go outside on these.
Also some of them are clrearly marked (see last photo: with 1948 or 1949 date), some of them faded over the years.


Hungarian PA63 holsters - also all types:
The brown ones are Army, the black ones are police, the white ones for both Army special troops, military police, etc. and also the police used these. The 3rd black one - is a more modern design from the 1980s - 1990s. The cleaning rods go inside in a small pocket, also I have all the magazines for these. Black magazines are for the Army made black PA63s - the silver, alu ended ones for the police guns. All these are leather...
On the last photo, there is also PA63 holster for civillian clothes wearing police officers - used in the 1970s - 1980s.

Along with the Hungarian cold-war field-gear and uniforms - I also collect medals and documents/original photos from that era.
I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in these, so I didn't take any photos yet...but once in a while, I'll post some scans, etc. - like now:

Here is a photo taken in April 4th, 1956 - during a military parade.
Please see the troops wearing the "parade" version of M50 helmets, with red star within the Hungarian tri-color (red-white-green) circle decals. I have 2 of these helmets...I'll post a photo of the helmet under the b&w photo.
I also have a few of these officer's belts (on the officer with the sword) - they look almost the same as the Hungarian WW2 officers belts. I'll take pics one day...

The guns are Hungarian M48 Nagant type -

update:

ÁVH (State Protection Authority) officer's leather coat from the late 1940s / early 1950s - like new condition - agents wore this whenever they went to arrest somebody, needless to say; if you saw this coat from up close...you were having a very BAD day.
The last photo is a shot from a Hungarian film about the pre-1956 regime...

It's based on WW2 Hungarian motorcycle troop's coat - and actually in the early 1960s, motorcycle troops wore a coat like this - but that was made from artificial leather.

update:

Paramilitary uniform this time...

Unissued Hungarian "civil defence" uniform (hooded coat, pants and field cap) as was used in between the 1960s and 1980s.
The size is 170/52 and a date is 1982 if my eyes are correct. I also have a civil defense gasmask set - still need to take pics.

The last few photos are from the "Civil Defense Museum" located in Budapest.

On the second photo, the figure is wearing an M50 helmet - which after the introduction of M70 helmet, was used by the civil defense and military firemen.

my second Hungarian para-trooper's folding shovel (see the other one in this thread) - I got this because it is a nice numbered / matching piece: "71"
