RH Pal 36 Fighting knife

Article about: Hi guys,Had this for a few months now and I thought I'd show it. Its been resharpened and the finish looks like it's been removed post-war, This may sound stupid but should I get the finish

    Hi guys,Had this for a few months now and I thought I'd show it. Its been resharpened and the finish looks like it's been removed post-war, This may sound stupid but should I get the finish redone?

    I would recommend leaving it "as is".

    They are a good knife.

    Yes, do leave as is.

    You might want to give the blade a light hand polishing with a cloth
    and polish compound - like 'Flitz'.

    There were apparently two versions made of this knife - 'Parkerized'
    and 'in the white' (natural metal). Most I've come across were not Parkerized............

    I've seen them for $35 in 'good', to $60 in 'excellent' condition...........

    I just bought one of these for 10 dollars. They are not valued much.

    I have never heard of one as inexpensive, and would buy them
    all day long at that price..................but condition is important !

    I've got one of these knives, but it's got a Sheffield, England stamp. Anyone know why that might be? I can't find any information on it, or even another example of one on the internet - all the others say, "Made in USA." Is this a fake? I've had it for like 20 years.

    Here is one that is up for almost 500$. U Something strange with this link. It in the capital U. Don't know why and i can't change it. Have tried.

    I have not researched this link at all, but they have a few of them. Also some made by Camillus.

    The stamp looks uneven in some way. Could it have been made on top of the "US" stamp?
