Is this a m88 NCO Bulgarian mannlicher bayonet I've not seen one like this with a troddel attachment
I think the upward facing cutting edge identifies this as an M1895. The M1888 had a downward facing blade.
The bayonet was made by OEWG [Osterreichische Waffenfabrik Gesellschaft]
The loop on the hilt indicates an NCO bayonet and the sight on the muzzle ring is for cavalry carbine use.
The S/Lion/8 is a Czech marking for the 8th Division HQ Opava. The mark on the pommel is for the Czech 34th Infantry Regiment.
The number "45" on the cross guard may be a Bulgarian mark.
A well travelled bayonet with a lot of history.
