Article about: Hi all Another bayonet, this one a 6 inch blade. I understand it is for a No. 5 rifle and was used in Malaya during the 1950s but any further information would be very welcome, thank you.

    You are correct. This bayonet is for the 303 British Enfield rifle, No. 1, Mk 5.

    Just to add a final bit, it was made by Wilkinson Sword Co., that's their wartime code S294 on it.
