Looks like the frog for the P1888. They still made these for parade wear, I have one. I've never seen an original period piece though, so I couldn't tell you much more as to originality. But someone will be along who knows.

thank you. Are the M1888 frigs not white? In a other source i found the name "Mk1". Is this correct? Was this frog worn together with other bayonets or sidearms?
