help with unit marked british 1888

Hello guys,I have a p1888 made by Lee Enfield dated 12,1897 reacceptance in 1905.It as two unit stamps on the pommal 1st is 12LD,2nd one is R214 which i think is a reserve regiment (could be wrong) any info on unit marks would be of help.Thanks Paul.

Hello-made by Enfield Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF)-Lee Enfield is the name of the rifle-marking for 'R214' is rack marking for rifle no.214 but I can't help with the actual unit marking, sorry.

12LD stands for 12th London, that is, the 12th (County of London) Battalion, London Regiment (The Rangers). They were a Territorial Force battalion formed in 1908 from the 22nd Middlesex RVC. They became part of the KRRC in 1937.
