Information on a British jackknife.

Hi, I found this jackknife in a flea market a few years back for a good price and picked it up, I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a bit more info on it. It is marked England and Premier, but has no other markings on it that I can find. Would this be a commercial jackknife since it doesn't have a arrow and date?

Quite likely military, for this one I'm thinking First World War era.
