    I once saw a picture of a ww2 Italian soldier with one of these knives but for the life of me can't remember where
    anyone else know of this.? The knife dates around 40's and made of Horn and cal 16 and 12.. on it blade is stamped : "FROSOLONE

    Your knife appears to be a knife that a sportsman would carry when out hunting with a shotgun. The claws marked 12 and 16 are for extracting shotshells that have stuck in the breech. I would therefor say that your knife does not have any specific military connection. John.
