Very nice Randall. It looks original to me.
Most war time sheaths were stitched AND riveted together. The riveted sheaths
are very desirable.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
This is a very nice Randall made knife. It is not a repro, IMO. These are
indeed worth quite a bit - $500 to $1000 - possibly more if they
are early or WWII models, even in this worn condition.
I do not yet have one either.........!

thats a amazing piece of history,being a WWII model I would venture to say it would very DESIREABLE ! given the 5 year wait for a new randall, and the fact they cost $800 IIRC, this one has got to be worth quite a bit more. although she looks to have lost the sharpening stone button flap. but a old heavy leather boot lace could be found easily.....
