Have a look here - states 1100 made and marked "Randall Made / Spfld.Mass"

    Military Fighting Knives/Collection

Could be quite an uncommon knife.

Very nice Randall. It looks original to me.
Most war time sheaths were stitched AND riveted together. The riveted sheaths
    are very desirable.

This is a very nice Randall made knife. It is not a repro, IMO. These are
indeed worth quite a bit - $500 to $1000 - possibly more if they
are early or WWII models, even in this worn condition.

I do not yet have one either.........!

    Steve.

thats a amazing piece of history, being a WWII model I would venture to say it would very DESIREABLE ! given the 5 year wait for a new randall, and the fact they cost $800 IIRC, this one has got to be worth quite a bit more. although she looks to have lost the sharpening stone button flap. but a old heavy leather boot lace could be found easily.....
