    Greetings Kris,

    While the knife may have very well served in the trenches during WWI, based upon its style and scabbard, I would believe it to be a mid to late 19th century contemporary piece.

    Greetings again Kris,

    I did some searching (online) and found this interesting website (below). Perhaps, if you contact the article's author, he may be able to put you in contact with Mr. Stutter in order to provide a ball-park figure on when the store offered that particular model. Yes, it would be iffy at best, but never say never, eh?
