    Hello Friends,

I found this last week and thought that you might like seeing it. This, more than likely, will be the nicest RH 36 i will ever own. As always i look forward to your input.

    Take care,

Sure is a beauty Mart. I am however a bit enamored by the theater made knife
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I have one myself, not near as nice, and I carry it hunting!

My Grandpa was on the USS Spikefish and he carried one on his belt. It is identifiable in a few pictures. I surmise he brought it from home as he was a mountain boy from North Carolina.

Would the blade have such a high polish when issued, a very different finish than that of my pal 35

Your PAL 35 is a U.S. Navy Mark I, and was ordered
Parkerised for military service. The RH 36 was a
    relatively inexpensive private purchase knife
    - although I've read that some commanders
may have bought them and issued them
to their troops. The RH36 can be found
with a Parkerised finish, but they
    are not common........
