I picked up a couple of goodies at a local antique shop at a good price. One is a Camillus fighting knife and a deactivated artillery round that appears to be 75mm.

I don't know much about these fighting knives. The knife at first appeared to be Vietnam era to me but the stapled leather sheath had me thinking it may be an earlier knife. The only markings on it is U.S Camillus N.Y. on the blade. The pommel appears to have the larger pin to me but I could be wrong. Hopefully there is an expert here that can help me out.

Here are some photos of it....

    Hi !

Your, particular, US utilitiy knife, (designation of origin: US Navy and Marine Corps Utility Knife Mk II), was, (note the makers mark !), manufactured by Camillus, N.Y., from 1962 until 1974.

    Best regards,

    R.

Thank you for your reply, I also talked to some other folks who believe the scabbard is from an earlier WWII blade, probably a Kabar.
