Does anyone know how late these were made? I have the book by Graham Priest, and he says that the date stamps should be either 41 or 42, mine is dated 43, and the blade is all painted, it's not in the white like the others I've seen. I don't have the Skennerton book yet, but after I've recovered from the sticker shock, I think I'll be getting one. Here's some pictures of mine, sorry I'm still learning the settings of my camera.

Skennerton's says that testing the new MK2 has finished in 1942. The first contract start on 27 Jun.1942.

Initial contract for MK1 was for 100.000 pieces. But there were only 75.000 made. I guess contract was cut. Interesting I checked my MK1 , can't see any date struck on the button.

Some of them were marked with the singer N67, according to the Preist book, towards the end of the contract run. I've seen a picture of one with this marking, but I can't find anything anywhere else with this late of a date.
