I have been picking up British survival blades the last while and recently added these two ugly ones for my collection. The lower one is a mid/late war era British float knife and the other is a late war/early post war version. They were designed to be sewn onto RAF life rafts, had the requirement of being able to float and not to have ways to puncture the rafts. Later version added a can opener. On a related note, what other survival blades did the British make? I haven't found an affordable Flook book so I am unsure of what else I should be looking for. I have a crash axe, a folding machete, several machete. Thanks for looking.
