Very nice gravity knife. HOWEVER, just to put a big dampener on this, as far as I am aware, it is ILLEGAL to have or own a Gravity or drop blade knife in the UK, how this affects those in private collections I dont know and, as the laws are/can be very "convoluted/hard to interpret" on this front at times, I am, as usual, more than willing to stand corrected by those more knowledgeable than me.

Have to agree with Jimpy.100% illegal to sell in the UK and Ireland. The only way would be to export to a buyer in the States if possible.

Although a bit late to comment on this superb posting, many congratulations on finding such a rare knife. My own example came out of an Auction House in Australia many years ago, not too expensive either and no problems with Customs and Excise importing it either, but the main blade had considerable wear. I seem to recall that a long time ago Kent Sales had one, but may not have been all that it should have. A further comment, as far as I am aware it is not illegal to own a Gravity Knife, British or German, but not permissible to sell. Regards, Clive.
