    Hello, I picked this knife up at an antique shop when I was on vacation and just got back so I thought I would show everyone. The reason I got it was to go on my USMC uniform setup. What do you think about condition and a safe buying price. Does anyone know a little history of theses knives?

    These are pretty common knives. (Very good knives BTW)
    If I were buying it, in this condition, I think about $50 US
    would be a fair price.

    These were 'private purchase' during WWII, and originally
    made by Remington - who's cutlery division was bought
    by the Pal Blade Co., though they kept the model
    designation: "RH" = 'Remington Hunter'.
    The 6 means a six inch blade.

    The scabbard with it is incorrect, and for the much later
    70's or 80's MKII type fighting/utility knife.........



    In the pic below, I believe the two scabbards second
    and third from the right are WWII era - and what
    originally came with these knives:
