Very nice collection of US knives and bayonets.........

I can answer Corey's question about the lower knife in the first photo,
just by looking at the knife - it is indeed a 'PAL' MK1 ( RH-35 ).

Went outside to the garage and checked the PAL Mk1. Here is how the opposite side of the ricasso is marked.

The PAL MK1 is probably the most common of it's type and from what I've read,
because they can still be found today in mint/unissued condition, they must
have made a million of them.........!

I don't remember how many they made, but it was indeed a LOT! PAL was set up to make them before the war, so it was easy to pump them out.

Beautiful blades. All of mine were packed away, too, but I dug them out last weekend to clean, oil and photograph.
