Some of my blades

Article about: by Walkwolf Very nice collection of US knives and bayonets......... I can answer Corey's question about the lower knife in the first photo, just by looking at the knife - it is indeed a 'PAL

    Went outside to the garage and checked the PAL Mk1. Here is how the opposite side of the ricasso is marked.

    Nice collection. We share a similar taste in blades as I have many of the
    same ones.

    The PAL MK1 is probably the most common of it's type and from what I've read,
    because they can still be found today in mint/unissued condition, they must
    have made a million of them.........!

    I don't remember how many they made, but it was indeed a LOT! PAL was set up to make them before the war, so it was easy to pump them out.

    A few more 1907s. I really like these, and all the variants, so ended up with a lot of them.

    My bayonets,as well as my Pal and jet pilot's knife are all boxed up and
    I don't have any pics of them. Here are some that I do display-----
    US fighting knives
    and
    US fighting knives
    and
    Eks and other things

    Beautiful blades. All of mine were packed away, too, but I dug them out last weekend to clean, oil and photograph.
