    Default Two WWI Knuckle Knives

I am looking at possibly buying these, I believe the first one is the CKK-5951
1st Model LF&C 1917 Brown Handle Knuckle Bow Guard Fighting Knife and I am not sure of the model for the second one. I know nothing of knuckle knives but I have been interested in getting one and learning about them, so anything you have to add is much appreciated. The second knife is being offered for $150 and I haven't asked about the first one yet.

    Thanks,

    Alec

First one looks ok. Expect it to cost around $500. The second is in
poor condition and probably a repro - I do not like the look of
the grip/finger holes or the cheap modern sheath........

Got to agree with Steve 100% on his opinion. Here's a linky to some genuine knives owned by chaps on the forum that should prove invaluable regarding the knives you have shown. Note the finish quality on the LF&C 1918 types that is lacking in the one you show.

That 1918 looks to have an M3 marine knife blade, which makes it suspect

Thanks for the help and the links,

Comparing with the pictures of the other thread I see what you are saying about the handle, blade, and the finish of the 1918.

I really like the first one, not sure if I can send $500 on it. I will wait and see what he is asking.

    Thanks again for the info.
