Default U.S.N MK 2 Fighting Knife

    Hello Friends,

I just purchased this really nice USN MK 2 Camillus, NY WWII fighting knife. It is my first one and am very happy with finding it. Please give me all your feedback. It has been sharpened but done very nicely, no grinding marks. The pommel is a little loose, the leather washers are tight, and the guard is a little loose. It is stamped under the guard "Camillus, NY" & "USN MK 2". The scabbard is in great shape. The snap is tight and in good condition. It is marked "NORD 6581","B.M. Co. VP".

    Thanks,

    William

Nice example with more patina from poor storage than the amount of use. Great addition. Be careful since they do become addicting especially since they are still affordable and many, many variations. I think a complete collection of them is over 300.
