    Default Unknown American Bayonet ?

Could somebody ID this bayonet for me please. I came across it in a antique shop, unfortunately without a scabbard. Looking at the markings the flaming bomb and crossed swords above the US marking - could it have come from the US horse artillery ? what IS 7 above the circle with upside down vie I can't even guess at. Could members tell me what model and age is it ? Any information appreciated

    For the Enfield P17 rifle.

Nothing to do with horse artillery.

    Cheers, Ade.
