Article about: Hi guys have come across this knife for sale - I have been informed that it says Cleveland cutlery co . Anyone know if ww2 or roughly what date? Thanks, jimbo

    Looks like a US made PAL 37, but it could be a post war German or Japanese copy. But if it does say Cleveland Knife Coy, it probably is US made. Blade may have been reshaped a bit.

    Thanks Anderson, also been told that it has Germany on it so must be a copy. What would be value do you think? Thanks Jimbo

    If what I read on the interweb is correct, Cleveland Cutlery knives were made in Solingen
    and imported to the US. There is some debate as to when. One source says that it was founded
    in 1945 however I have seen some of their hunting knives listed as "vintage 1930's"

    Makes me wonder if it’s ww2 era or post ww2, I’ll have to see if I can find anymore info. Be good to know!

    This one just sold on EBay for $29.99 .... Not worth much.
