Hi I just bought this Bayonet. Is in great condition. but i'm not sure about

    Default US m1 AFH 1942 Bayonet

    Hi

    I just bought this Bayonet. Is in great condition.
    but i'm not sure about the stamp, because it is nog located directly above the grip bars..the scabbard looks good.

    AFH = American Fork and Hoe. But I have not seen that particular style of their marking before? See here:

    Iím in agreement with Ade. The markings look strange to me as well, as does the blade forging/grinding. FP
