Question US Utica CutCo Fighting Knife

I've got a few questions about my recent acquisition. Is this actually a Ka-Bar knife? I think this may have been issued post WWII, am I correct? If so, how old is it exactly? I can't find any definitive information on it and your help is appreciated, thank you!

Says 'Utica', so no, not a Ka-Bar - but all Mark 2 knives
are generally known as Ka-Bars, whether made by
    that company or not.

I believe your knife is Vietnam era, due to the
7 rivet sheath and the fungicidal treatment
    to the leather.........

    Steve.

Isn't the reason the leather is this dark from aging?

This is a post War Mark 2.

If it has a US over the maker's mark it is post WWII.
