    Default ww2 Camillus mk2 ??

I've got a pair of Camillus mk2 knives that I believe are
late ww2 issue. These are marked Camillus NY, USMC
on the guard, not on the blade.

These are both in terrible condition but still are one of
    the more uncommon variations.

Am I right in dating these as 1945 manufacture?

    Thanks Greg

Hi Greg. The top one appears to be late WWII as you say - grips
became thicker later in the war - but the other is possibly 70's
or 80's ( It has a straight guard and what looks like water-
proofing on the grip ? Something not done until much
later as you probably know ) It's blade shape is
unusual for this type of knife.........

    Thanks for the reply.
The knife on the bottom is horribly beat up.
The blade tip was broke off and the blade reshaped.
It has heavy grinding marks on it.. The handle has
been treated with something. Most likely done by the
same person who reshaped the blade.
