This is an original WWII US M4 bayonet manufactured by Utica Cutlery Company. It is the guard marked variation. Condition is excellent. Blued and factory sharpened only. Leather washer handle is also excellent. M8A1 scabbard.

When I press preview on the page it shows a Mark 2 that I previously uploaded (always seem to have challenges with this site). If they show when I press Submit my advanced apologies.

There is something strange about the blade. The edge is not full the entire length and appears to have been sharpened and reparked to. The sharp edge should be straight with the entire edge. The cross guard is also loose, probably due to leather shrinkage. I would hold out for a better example. The scabbard is a Vietnam era scabbard.
