The straps are not comon. In think that is a montage for officer to store in a pocket.



the loop measure 35 mm (1,4 inc), is good for private beld but not for an officer, may be on a lashing.

It is a wrist compass on a field made lanyard. In it's original configuration it would be worn like a wrist watch. Interesting conversion, but not the factory strap in my opinion.
