The question is obvious :P, i have seen a lot of mosin nagant bayonets of all types, but i have never seen one with it's leather holster, so could that be genuine, the price tag for the bayonet is 25 euro. thank you.

i actually think that they did make them rarely postwar. dont take my word for it though. i do know that ive read about scabbards for mosin bayo's before.
mosins were sighted in with bayonets fixed (our folded out in the case of the m44). soviet military doctrine emphasized the use of the bayonets so they were told to keep them on. thats why its so hard to get a m91/30 bayonet on and off. since they were supposed to be on 24/7 they didnt issue scabbards usually.
As this is an early bayonet, it is well worth the asking price for that alone. Buy it and who cares about the scabbard!
Cheers, Ade.
Yeah, I'll take it if you don't want it, just because I need that style bayonet for my WWI Mosin Nagant.

the idea was anyway to buy it in any case i just wanted to know if the scabbard was genuine or not, because , as i said above, i haven't seen one so far.
And RedHorseman25 i am glad that you have a ww1 mosin nagant, i unfortunately do not , but at least a bayonet ...
yeah if we work together we can make something happen )
I dont care for the Moisn type rifles, but considering that it has the leather scabbard with it, i would buy it.
And, it is well worth what they are asking for it, and then some....
Brian
