    I also believe that great numbers of SVTs and their bayonets were refurbished and distributed to Poland.

    The marking on the first bayonet looks like a partial Izhevsk (arrow inside a triangle). Which IMO are much harder to find than the Tula (star) marking. Which is also my experience with the SVT rifles that have been here for some time (not reworked). And the more recent SKS carbines, with quantities of imported SKS’s (reportedly) coming out of the Ukraine. Mostly rebuilt, with here and there a brand new or never really used example to be found in amongst the reworked ones. FP
