    Default M41 backpack in well worn combat used condition

    Today I received my M41 backpack in well worn combat used condition. This specific type of backpack was only made for some 8 months if I am correct. Mine has all the extra equipment straps cut off. Quite common later on in the war. Also the backpack has some small holes and one bigger tear with a, what seems like period made repair, all damage due to heavy (combat)wear. The leather straps are all still flexible, unlike most old leather equipment straps which become very hard and stiff. The majority of Soviet equipment and fieldgear on the market is brandnew unused stock items found on some abandoned warehouse or whatever. This one has really been there and shows real character. At least that is how I see this one
