looks like common post war, I have several that look just like it (but in much better condition) purchased with refurb Nagant revolvers.
That is circa 50's - 60's made holster

were there any of this style used during WW2?
That is made of "kirza", rubberized canvas. This material was just coming out in late 44, but there would have been so many leather holsters available, that it is unlikely that holsters made of kirza were produced, or issued during the GPW. Is it possible, I suppose, but not very likely. If you want a GPW era looking holster, you are better off with leather.

I have 4 of those holsters the ones with readable dates are in the 1950s and 1960s. THese are VERY common in the US and have the same appearance as the ammo pouches which date all the way into the 1970s (?).
These holsters were made durring the period the soviets were refurbishing all these small arms and these items are in abundance as are M91/30s and Nagant revolvers to go with them.
