Hello Joe,
Great thing(s) - both the bag and the PRD...
If you do not mind, perhaps you can enlighten us (well, at least me ) of some facts and history behind this weapon? In general, of course.
I am mainly into uniforms, headgear, and insignia, but I would think some knowledge about weapons would stimulate my passion even further...
Regards,
Richie
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Thank you Comrade Kharkov43, your Fraternal Support to your Comrades is attracting Admiring Glances from Moscow Centre...
Many thanks.
Glad to help, The PTRD is dated 1943 serial number is M3A-413 she came out of a museum in Pa. Have no ideal why they sold it. I had inquired about buying one and put my name on a list and got a phone call and bought it on the spot. DID ANYONE notice the bi pod is for a PTRS. Shot blanks out of it never live ammo afraid modern ammo would blow up in it.
You can find out how a weapon come here to USA under the Freedom of Information Act, it will trace the gun from owner to owner only dates names blacked out.
If anyone wants measurements I can put them on the site if its OK. Thanks Joe
nice bag ! in very good condition ! thank for showing !!
